After a year hiatus, Swansea biggest Sprint Tri returns to where it all began
We’re excited to share some big news. The Swansea Swim and Swansea Triathlon are officially returning to the iconic Prince of Wales Dock for 2026!
Due to maintenance work taking place in the dock last year, we had to make the unfortunate move to the bay; however, we have now been given the necessary permissions to return to the Prince of Wales Dock, the home of the Swansea Triathlon!
We couldn’t be prouder to bring Swansea’s biggest race weekend back to where it all began. This spectacular waterfront venue has hosted some of our most memorable race days, and 2026 promises to be no different.
With its dockside atmosphere, excellent viewing spots for spectators, and the warm Swansea welcome, this location truly embodies the spirit of the event. We’re also pleased to confirm that we’re bringing back the popular afternoon racing format.
With a 1 pm. start time, athletes and supporters can enjoy a lively day in the city before the racing begins. This not only boosts the energy around the course but also helps local bars, cafés, and restaurants as they fill with spectators. This creates the exciting atmosphere that makes this weekend special for the whole community.
