Swansea Market
Swansea Market is the largest indoor market in Wales and was crowned as Britain’s Best Large Indoor Market 2024!

National Waterfront Museum
The National Waterfront Museum tells the story of industry and innovation in Wales, now and over the last 300 years.
The Industrial Revolution in Wales had a tremendous effect on People, Communities and Lives as well as that of the rest of the World. Visitors can soak up the history with a breathtaking mix of old and new in the city's rapidly developing maritime quarter.
Three Cliffs Bay Walk
This pleasant walk through a wooded valley, past a WWII bunker, takes in views of Pennard Castle before arriving at the golden sands at Three Cliffs.
LC Waterpark
The LC Swansea is home to Wales' biggest indoor waterpark featuring a variety of exciting attractions such as slides, waves, lazy river and even an indoor surf machine! For our younger visitors, splash around in our interactive pool with a mini slide, tipping buckets and water fountains, or have slip-sliding fun on our Volcano Bay slide!
Mumbles Pier
June 2019 saw the re-opening of Mumbles Pier after Phase 1 of its extensive refurbishment
This 835ft structure has dominated Swansea Bays landscape for over 100 years. Currently the Pier is halfway through a dramatic multi-million pound renovation project.
The Pier is one of Swansea’s most iconic and recognisable landmarks. Steeped in a rich history the Pier conveys a triumph in Victorian Architecture. The Mumbles Pier is one of only six surviving iron piers in Wales and is currently Grade II listed.

Plantasia Tropical Zoo
Your adventure begins as you step through a giant tree into a real living rainforest. Start by exploring the dark, below ground zone full of wonderful creepy crawlies and all those lovely creatures that lurk beneath.
Head through the opening doors onto the forest floor, where immediately you’ll be greeted by a 12ft Python, the Giants of the past, and a rainbow-filled pond full of fish of all sizes.
Venture further into the Arid zone where things start to hot up! Climb through the Meerkats tunnel to get a different perspective of their enclosure. Say hi, and count the Egyptian Tortoises. How many can you see?
Keep exploring our Tropical Zoo as you climb high in the canopy, interacting with Oscar the iguana, Nala the Asian leopard cat, and a talkative parrot! Something new is brewing! Will you be brave enough to walk through the our BRAND NEW Vital Venoms & Practical Poisons room?
Follow the bridge down past the waterfall towards Fort Crox where you’ll finally come face to face with crocodiles!

Gower Heritage Centre
Welcome to Gower Heritage Centre: Explore our Iconic Historic Water-Powered Flour Mill – built in the 12th Century. We also have rural history displays all about the history and heritage of agricultural Gower. A number of craft workshops are also based at the Centre. We are open every day 10am to 5pm together with our Poultry Park and tea garden.
Dogs are welcome on a lead. For younger visitors we have mini tractors, diggers and a small soft play area- all undercover. In the grounds of the Mill we have a larger sand pit with a swing, slides and play castle to climb on
Swansea Marina
Swansea Marina, located in the heart of the city in a former 19th-century industrial dock, is a vibrant, award-winning, and scenic waterfront destination that blends maritime history with modern city living. It offers comprehensive berthing facilities, numerous restaurants, cafes, and cultural attractions like the National Waterfront Museum, making it a popular spot for visitors and boaters alike.
Dylan Thomas Birthplace
When you walk through the doors of this living museum, you immediately feel an uniquely intimate connection with the life of one of Wales’ greatest poets. In every room you breathe in the spirit of the Edwardian era, when the Thomas family first moved in. Today, it’s a unique leisure destination for private tours, staycation, and dining experience.
The house was opened by Dylan’s daughter Aeronwy Ellis on the 94th anniversary of the poet’s birth in 2008. Former US President Jimmy Carter lends his voice to welcome visitors to the Birthplace, which King Charles III (then Prince Charles) visited in 2012.
