Pedal Cover to "Power" The Wales Sportive 2023

Wales’ biggest closed road Sportive is proud to announce Pedal Cover as the new “Powered By” partner in an exciting new deal.

Pedal Cover has been at the forefront of cycling insurance for the past decade and offers market-leading policies whilst specialising in multiple cover options. Combining home and bike insurance under one policy cuts the hassle and expense of dealing with separate providers, and it can be much more cost-effective. Pedal Cover provide the best of a bike policy combined with the best of home and contents cover.

In a first for LCW Wales, the Pedal Cover team will be on hand for all 4 days of the event this year located at the new Pedal Cover Community Bike Park. This complimentary, purpose-built area will be available for members of the public, supporters and athletes to leave their bikes safely and securely whilst exploring the Athlete Village and taking in the world-famous LCW atmosphere.

In the lead-up to the event Pedal Cover will also be offering some incredible offers for many of their products that are not available anywhere else.

The event will be re-branded as The Wales Sportive “Powered By” Pedal Cover, which will also see our new partners engaging in the Long Course Legacy programme, which has been providing vital assistance to local sporting, community and educational groups in the past few years.

LCW Wales is now one of the biggest multisport events in the Northern hemisphere, televised in over 100 countries and attracting 12,000 athletes and 30,000 spectators during the 3-day festival weekend. The Long Course Weekend brand is now established in Australia, New Zealand, Mallorca, Holland and Belgium with brand-new and exclusive host countries to be announced shortly.

LCW Wales will take place from 30th June – 2nd July 2023 with a brand-new finish line and Athlete Village for the first time in the event's 12-year history. The Wales Sportive “Powered By” Pedal Cover takes place on Saturday 1st July and will see thousands of cyclists, of all abilities, taking on the formidable 40, 70 and 112-mile National Park courses.
