50 Days until LCW DUO in Mallorca

Excitement builds as the countdown is on for the inaugural LCW DUO in Mallorca!

Mallorca has been home to Long Course Weekend since 2017 and has always been well-praised for its vibrant host location. LCW DUO is the newest edition to the global series, and will provide athletes a one-of-a-kind experience as they race in a new location that is rich in culture and beauty.

LCW DUO is a multi-sports festival experience set across two days in the south of Mallorca. Athletes can choose between swim and run disciplines, or combine the two together. Enjoy the ultimate multi-sports event experience that Long Course Weekend offers, but save on travelling and insurance expenses by leaving the bike at home. 

LCW DUO provides an excellent opportunity for athletes less experienced in cycling, a chance to explore and experience the magic and community which are the heart and soul of Long Course Weekend.

Athletes will dive into an open-water swimming event in one of Spain’s only protected marine conservation areas for DUO day one; competing in either a 1.8km or 3.8km swim across crystal clear Mediterranean waters.  Day two of LCW DUO will commence the run disciplines. Athletes will run across the beautiful seaside town of Colonia Sant Jordi to the Ses Salines lighthouse; the southernmost point of the country. There are an array of distances to choose from; 5km, 10km, 21.1km or 42.2km. Finish your multi-sport festival, and join the community in celebration of the festival of Sant Jordi.

Colonia Sant Jordi is an incredible location, providing beautiful scenery, shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy incredible cuisine and gain an authentic experience of Mallorca. Our team recommend that athletes experience the Carbrera Island Cruise to Blue Caves and the Aquarium Cabrera, during their stay!
