It’s a brilliant event for all the family, even if you’re not taking part in this challenging event, thousands of people descend on Tenby to support and spectate. I can’t wait to get my microphone and start cheering everyone on. The Ocean Lava series looks incredible.  The images from last year have sent Twitter mad!!! See you there!”

The Long Course Weekend is a three day festival of sport based in Tenby, Pembrokeshire. This year’s event will take place on the 11-13th July. The final day Sunday 13th July is the Wales full and half Marathon. Wales’ only fully closed road marathon, the tough but spectacular course has been compared with the best marathon courses in the world, and it’s easy to see why!

With international TV coverage stretching to 534 million homes worldwide, the spectacular location and a welcome that you simply won’t find anywhere else, the Long Course Weekend is one not to be missed.

The Ocean Lava race on August 2nd, is a middle Triathlon that has already won 220 Magazine race of the year in its very first year! This year, 24 places will be up for Grabs at the Ocean Lava World series finals in Lanzarote on November 1st.
